Kerry Vaughn Erickson (b. 1971) is a painter and art instructor living and working in Vancouver, BC. His early career spanned draughtsmanship, graphic design, illustration, and art direction — experiences that, alongside a deep love of the Old Masters, inform his work as an amalgamation of traditional and contemporary methods. He began teaching in Ottawa in 2002 and has since taught across Canada. His painting is distinguished by its rigorous craft and a painterly sensibility rooted equally in observation and imagination.
