Frank Pochyly is a Vancouver-based artist and the brother of painter Jane Appleby. Born in the Czech Republic, he immigrated to Vancouver with his family in 1969. His work spans painting and illustration, informed by a career that has also included graphic design and commercial art. He and his sister share a deep connection to the Canadian landscape and a commitment to expressive, personal work.
